About the Centro de Estudos de Bioética

From a discussion group to a community.
The CEB’s origins go back to an informal reflection group that began in 1986.
The Centre was formally constituted on 9 December 1988, bringing different professional backgrounds together in a humanist and personalist reflection on life, science and human dignity.
The Cadernos de Bioética and the Revista Portuguesa de Bioética are part of its editorial heritage. Its current work combines reflection, publishing, training and meetings across the Portuguese-speaking community.
