Accessibility
The CEB wants this site to be usable by everyone, with any device and way of browsing.
Goal
The site has been designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Conformance is only declared after an audit that includes use with assistive technologies.
What the site offers
- Keyboard navigation, with the focus always visible.
- A skip link to go directly to the content.
- Headings, page regions and forms with clear labels and announced error messages.
- Text with enough contrast, in both the light and dark themes.
- Pages that adapt to small screens and to enlarged text.
- Respect for the device’s reduced-motion preference.
- The language of each text marked, so that assistive technologies read it correctly.
Known limitations
- Some PDF documents may not be prepared for screen readers. If you need another format, ask the CEB.
- The videos are on YouTube; subtitles depend on each video.
- Wix’s payment pages, the journal’s site and other external sites follow the accessibility conditions of those who run them.
- Some publications and some information exist only in Portuguese.
